This is going to be another Martha-Mary-type talk?

Btw, were you around when Fr. Larry gave his CIA talk?
Contemplatives in Action. People who balance prayer & work.

Sheena: Nope, it's on sanctification of work. I.e. I think it's along the lines of because Jesus is holy and He held a job, therefore work became holy as well. :) Nicholas Lim's the speaker. But of course, there's more to that ler... SO PEOPLE PLEASE COME!! ;)

Nope, I was not in KL yet when Fr. Larry gave the talk.

Anyway, what do you think of the poster? Hehe. :D

Haha, the poster is nice in itself, and now that I know what the talk is going to be about, I can better appreciate the connection between the theme work & the use of "office stationery" illustrations (eg. corkboard, photos, post-it note) in the poster :) And why am I not surprised that Nic Lim is giving this talk? ;) Opus Dei strikes again!

And yeah, people, Lifeline 'tis a rare place where you can get spiritual food in the company of a community like yourself. Don't waste this chance... You miss when you don't have it. So, go :D

Sheena: Nic Lim is OPUS DEI?! *GASP* Hehe.

People, this is a BONUS! You don't only get to watch OPUS DEI in the movies (i.e. Da Vinci Code) but in real life as well! Hehe. Get to know how people from OPUS DEI are like!

Celestine and Sheena

I just went to the Alumdena Cathedral in Madrid. Big sanctuary to Josemaria Escriva there (Madrid was his hangout spot). Kind of strange because i´m not used to seeing statues of saints that wear spectacles.
I got a bunch of prayer cards with Escriva´s face on the front. I´ll pass it to you when I next see the you. If I bump into the albino monk, i´ll get him to sign it for you guys.

Anonymous (Adrian K.): I bet in the future, statues of saints will wear t-shirts and jeans while carrying PDAs as well. ;)

Jerine: You're welcome, enjoy your sunnny breeeeeze! Hehe. :)
