*ahem* sorry, i mulut gatal. HAVE to comment on this. but u must feel honored cos u got a comment from a designer herself :P
1. nice composition.but i just dont know why u like to place ur pic too much at the edge of ur canvas.drag ur Jesus pic lower a bit. so viewers can have a better view of the whole pic of the crucifix(esp. Jesus's head).
2.The font of the 'Catholic Students Society' is okay. But what are you trying to stress here? Catholic Students or Society? What i see here is that your stressing on the 'society' cos the font is bigger than the rest. is that your main concern? if it's not, then i suggest you smaller the society font. make sure it is much smaller than the rest so we know what you are trying to emphasize in ur design.maybe u could smaller 'society' and space the s-o-c-i-e-t-y to fit the edges of the words above it(students).if u knw what i mean.
I think the rest are fine la. don't freak out by the length of my comment. u wanted suggestions... so this is what you get ;)
Janice: Thank you for your suggestions, point #2 taken. :)
JL: The red is used to reflect the color official color of HELP UC. Thanks for the 3 cents though. ;)
Doulos: It's supposed to reflect the reality of most Catholics - dull - LOL (it's a joke OK? I am not dull. am i?)
Sam: Scaring the heathens? It's a Catholic Students Society after all. LOL. (It's a joke, heathens are very much welcome to join)
savante: The crucifix is after all a distinct symbol of Catholicism. This is "sedate looking", I initially considered using a screen capture from "The Passion of the Christ". LOL.

Looks good to me. But something tak kena with the words in Red. :) my 3 cents comment
Good job but the header is a tad weird because of the inconsistencies in the font. Also it is a bit too dull for my liking.
I can't concentrate on the poster. Writing and all is fine - but the Jesus is scaring me. Powerful though. Might scare heathens into coming. =P
The Jesus on the cross even freaks me, the lapsed Catholic. Powerful look though but couldn't you get a more sedate looking version?
Maybe get the Creation of Man?
